Wushu
The objective of the club is to provide an avenue for students to enjoy learning martial arts while developing their understanding of the sport and building their character through their involvement in Wushu.
Students participate in a programme that includes:
Skills Development
Members learn the foundation skills of Wushu and practise traditional
forms and sequences. Students develop outstanding fitness and discipline
through rigorous training routines. Players participate in exercises that
require intense concentration and focus to master complex moves and expand
their understanding of the martial art.
Holistic Development
Students develop concentration skills that are essential for both martial
arts and academic excellence. The training schedule helps students build
focus and determination. Members gain skills and character traits that
equip them for success in various aspects of their life.
Character Building
Students focus on developing perseverance and strong work ethic alongside
their physical abilities. The programme emphasises that consistent and
dedicated effort builds resilient character. Members learn values of self-mastery
and discipline that will benefit them in all areas of their life.
