P2 Learning Journey to Changi Airport
On 15 May, the Primary 2 students ‘took off’ to Singapore Changi Airport, Terminal 3. Students participated in a learning trail during which they learnt about the activities and services provided at Changi Airport as well as the importance of recycling. Students also used various Mathematics concepts to solve problems that were posed to them.
Science Discovery Week
The week-long Science Discovery Week has been kicked off this week with an enthralling assembly performance on the amazing properties of air. Every student from P1 to P6 has the opportunity to try out hands-on activities such as making music with bottles; creating floats for toys; using mobile devices to learn in the garden. E'lights have indeed an enriching week of discovering the wonders of Science around them.
International Friendship Day
On 2 April 2018, East Spring Primary School commemorated International Friendship Day. The students were briefed on the significance of the event before they watched a fashion parade put up by our International Students, their parents and some teachers.
P5 Adventure Camp
The 3 Days 2 Nights P5 Adventure Camp is part of our Life-long Learning programme for students of Primary 5. This year's camp was from 12-14 March. The students developed their independence and expanded their learning boundary beyond the classroom.
Sports Carnival 2018
The Annual Sports Carnival was conducted on Friday, 9th March 2018, in the school ground.
2018 East Zone Volleyball Competition Achievement
Congratulations to our Junior and Senior Volleyball Boys’ and Girls' Team for their achievements in the recent 2018 East Zone Volleyball Competition.
Chinese New Year Celebration 2018
East Spring Primary School celebrated Chinese New Year, ushering in the Year of the Dog. Students were engaged in an hour of classroom activities, learning about Chinese New Year’s traditional beliefs and culture.
Total Defence Day 2018
On 12 February 2018, our school commemorated Total Defence Day. We started the day with a skit on Total Defence that was put up by the teachers. The students were also briefed on the significance of the event.
